FinalApproach (“we”, “us”) is an air‑traffic control browser game. This policy explains what we collect when you create an account, play levels, and appear on the global leaderboard, and how we use that information.
Information we collect
- Account data: the email address you sign up with, a hashed password (or your OAuth provider identifier), and the timestamp of your account.
- Profile data: the display name and optional avatar image you choose. These are visible to other players on the leaderboard and pilot card.
- Gameplay data: per‑run results such as airport, score, stars, planes landed, elapsed time, and reroutes. These power your pilot rank and the global leaderboard.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request timestamps) used for security and debugging. We do not use third‑party advertising or cross‑site tracking.
How we use your data
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To save your scores and compute your global rank and pilot stripes.
- To display your display name, avatar, and rank on public leaderboards and on the shareable pilot card you generate.
- To detect abuse, cheating, or attempts to disrupt the service.
What is public
Your display name, avatar, and aggregate score data are visible to anyone who views the leaderboard or a pilot card you share. Your email address is never shown to other players.
Storage and processing
Account data, profile data, and scores are stored in our managed backend (Lovable Cloud, powered by Supabase). Avatar images are stored in a private storage bucket and served via signed public URLs. Data may be processed in any region where our backend provider operates.
Your choices
- You can change your display name and avatar at any time from your profile page.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated scores by contacting us; this is irreversible.
- You can stop generating new gameplay data simply by not playing — existing scores remain on the leaderboard until you delete your account.
Children
FinalApproach is suitable for general audiences, but accounts are intended for players aged 13 or older. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the game evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
